The dark times that you may find yourself in will pass.

The loneliness that often comes with grief, sadness or being completely overwhelmed … it can occasionally push us to depression and further.

I’ve been there myself, but have found true hope in God’s word.

He will not let go of you: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. The Lord hath chastened me sore: but He hath not given me over unto death” (Psalm 118:17-18).

God wants you to go to Him in those dark times of your life because He loves you. So much so, that “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

He gave His only Son for you to live, how incredible is that?

It may be hard to feel that He loves you, given the circumstances you find yourself in, but all you need to do is, “call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee” (Psalm 50:15).

Call upon God. He wants you to go to Him because He has a plan for you and your life: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11).

I know it may not seem like it when you are at your lowest point and struggling, but go to the Lord and trust Him with your life. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10).

Trust God and He will be the glorious hope in the darkness.
