Hello. I would like to share a free gift with you that I received many years ago that has changed my life.

Everyone likes to get free gifts. What a wonderful thing that somebody thought enough about you to purchase this particular gift for you. Well, today I have good news to share with you about the gift of eternal life. It is 100% free, even though you did not deserve it (and neither did I).

The Bible says eternal life is a free gift, but it came to us at Christ’s expense on the cross.

“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

God’s word says we are all sinners because we have broken His moral laws. But you might say, “I’m a pretty good person. I volunteer and do good deeds—and I’m certainly a better person than others.” Well, ask yourself this. Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen something? Used God’s name in vain as a curse word? Committed adultery? All of these are sins, and the consequence of sin is death and separation from God.

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

But because God loves us so much, He made a way for us to be saved from our sin. He sent His Son, Jesus, to the earth where He lived a sinless life and died on the cross, bearing the punishment for our sin. The gift of salvation comes from Jesus, who paid for it with His life.

“I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

So friend, do you want this free gift? Do you want to know how to become saved and have your sins forgiven forever? To receive the gift, believe this good news you have just read and repent (have a change of mind), trust in, believe in, accept what Jesus did on the cross for you. Christ died and shed His blood for your sins and the sins of the world. The Bible says you are saved if you believe this and trust Christ as your savior. To grow in your faith, find a Bible-believing church to fellowship in, and get baptized.

Friend, please accept this free gift today. Please do not reject it or you will die in your sins and spend eternity separated from God in the lake of fire.

“Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6

Do not delay—believe today because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed for you. The free gift of salvation is waiting for you to accept it with open arms. - SZ
