Collecting rubber ducks is something certain car owners enjoy doing. Because of your choice of vehicle, you’re also considered part of this crowd.

Ducking is something you can’t get away from. In the same way, none of us can escape the fact that we are sinners (Romans 3:10-20; 23). As sin is the act of disobeying God, sinners cannot be allowed into God’s holy Heaven (John 3:18; Revelation 20:15). However, since He is love as well as justice, God gave His only Son, Jesus, to die in our place and save us from an eternity in Hell (Romans 5:8). He rose from the dead three days later to complete the plan of salvation (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

All we must do to be saved from Hell is admit to God that we have sinned put our complete trust in Christ’s finished work for us (Acts 16:31). Immediately, the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts to seal us as God’s children (Ephesians 1:13), meaning that once we are saved, we can never lose our salvation.

Since we are not promised tomorrow, today is the day to be saved. Don’t wait! God’s call may never come again. Accept Christ’s salvation today.
