My heart has been burdened;
To those near I must go
To tell of God’s love,
And His Son whom I know.
I pray for the boldness,
I pray to be used.
I pray to shed light
To those whom
God knows are confused.
Do you know Him dear neighbor?
Have you been introduced?
‘Tis a free gift that God offers.
Jesus’ shed blood
Was once offered,
He bore the sin of us all.
Did you know this dear neighbor?
It’s on Him you must call.
I need to tell you dear neighbor,
It’s this you must know —
There’s only one Savior;
God’s Word says it’s so.
I’d be willing to show you
In God’s precious Word:
Jesus is the Way,
The Truth, and the Life —
Have you ever heard?
To earth Jesus came
To be our example and guide.
He was hung on a cross,
It was there at Calvary He died.
He was God’s perfect Lamb,
The Resurrection and Life.
And when He arose,
He put an end to all strife.
You see, my dear neighbor,
The battle has been won:
To overcome evil,
We must call on God’s Son.
Jesus Christ is my Lord,
My Friend and my God.
My faith gives me hope:
One day Heaven I’ll trod.
Are you wondering, dear neighbor,
Why I tell such things?
The greatest truths ever told,
And the joy that they bring.
One day this life here must end.
God gave us free will,
A Savior, a Friend.
Sinners who choose
Not to trust in Him now,
Surely that day
Before Jesus’ feet will they bow.
I ask you dear neighbor —
Have you made a choice?
Jesus knocks on the door,
Can you hear His voice?
To those who won’t answer
Reject Him,
Never open that door.
I must tell you dear neighbor,
That’s whom there is no hope for.
There’s no promise of tomorrow.
We live each day, one by one.
I plead with you dear neighbor,
Please call upon God’s Son.
The Way to knowing God and securing a home in Heaven:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” ~ John 14:6
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” ~ Revelation 3:20
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” ~ 1 John 5:13
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” ~ Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” ~ Romans 6:23
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” ~ John 3:16-17
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ~ Romans 10:9-11,13
Look back at the Scripture:
You must realize and admit to God that you are a sinner in need of the Savior. ~ Romans 3:23; 6:23
Confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and that you believe that He, as God’s perfect sacrifice, died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. ~ Romans 10:9
Accept in your heart that as you call upon Christ alone to save you, you can know you are SAVED!!! ~ 1 John 5:13
Now go and tell someone! Find a Bible-believing church, read your Bible, and pray every day and get to know the One who loves you and saved you. ~ Romans 10:13
