Be Still and Know that I Am God (Psalm 46:10)
“Be not dismayed,” though sorest trials press,
And all around the storm shrieks loud and wild!
Roll thou on Me thy burden and distress,
“I’ll never leave thee nor forsake thee,” child.
“Let not your heart be troubled”—still your fears,
“Your Father knoweth,” and His way is best.
Soon He Himself will wipe away our tears,
And though the path is rough, the end is rest.
“A little while,” His people hear Him say,
“And I will take you to My Father’s home.
Arise My love, My fair one come away,”
And our glad hearts respond, “Amen, Lord, Come!”
