If You Knew How Hard This Was I Think You'd Read This Leaflet Until The End.

I am NOT giving you this leaflet because:

• I am getting paid to do this

• I like being different

• I think I am better than you

In fact, it’s the complete opposite, as I really don’t like drawing attention to myself. But what makes this even more intimidating is that I know that when leaflets like this have been handed out in the past, people have laughed, ignored them, and even ripped them up in anger.

So, putting this little piece of paper in your hand is the HARDEST thing I’ve done all week!

BUT IT’S WORTH IT

Most people will not have the patience to read this message until the end. In fact, many will not have gotten this far! But if just one person out of thousands reads it, accepts the truth, and is changed by it—let’s just say it’s all been worthwhile.

HERE’S MY MESSAGE

I used to believe that fun, success, and falling in love were the keys to lasting happiness. But the more I pursued these types of things, the emptier I became. My heart was like a bucket of water with holes in the bottom: we can fill our lives with alcohol, relationships, achievements, or adventure, but it keeps seeping out from the gaps. This pattern of pursuing temporary pleasures repeated itself for years until…

I DISCOVERED THE TRUTH

The reason I felt so empty is because I wasn’t designed to have a fat wallet, I wasn’t created to get drunk every weekend, and I certainly wasn’t made to watch rude things on the internet. I was put on this earth for something greater. I was created to have a relationship with the God of the Universe. And let me tell you something … so were you!

The problem you and I have is we have been separated from our Creator because of our sin. We lie, we gossip, we envy. Most of us have unclean thoughts and many believe we do not need God at all. But we do need God. Your life is evidence of this fact—that a life lived without God is a painful, miserable way to live.

The Bible teaches us that the way of the sinner is hard, and God wants to save us from this ruin, so He provided a way for peace and eternal life. He sent His Son Jesus to bridge the gap of our separation from God. On the cross, all of our sins were transferred to Jesus and even though He was innocent, Christ was punished in our place. He died so that we might be forgiven, and He rose from the dead to give us a hope beyond the grave.

Are you willing to receive forgiveness of sins, to be rescued from your former life and given a new life in God? If the answer is yes, call out to Jesus now wherever you are and ask Him to save you and set you free.

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

The day you let Jesus set you free is the day that bucket gets a solid base and the day you find eternally lasting happiness.

“Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered” (Psalm 32:1).
