We hear so many different things said about Jesus. How do we know what’s true and what’s false?
Only what is said in God’s Word is trustworthy!
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 TIMOTHY 3:16).
So what does God’s Word tell us about Jesus?
Jesus tells us in JOHN 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
God the Father tells us in MATTHEW 17:5 while taking about Jesus, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”
When the Apostle John saw Jesus coming unto him, he said in JOHN 1:29, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
And when Jesus asked His disciples in MATTHEW 16:15-16, “But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
But you still have to answer that question for yourself...“But whom say ye that I am?”
Now that you know some of what God’s Word says about Jesus, who do you believe He is? And your answer is of utmost importance.
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name” (JOHN 20:31).
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (ROMANS 10:9).
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (ACTS 16:31).
