Too Young to think about God?
Some people think they are too young to serve God. BUT the Bible says:
“Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor Him in your youth before you grow old…” Ecclesiastes 12:1, NLT
“The Lord said to me, ‘Do not say that you are too young…’” Jeremiah 1:7, GNT
Too Smart to think about God?
Some people think they too brilliant to serve God. BUT the Bible says:
“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches … Boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:34-24
“Knowledge, however, puffs a person up with pride.”1 Corinthians 8:1, GNT
Too BUSY to think about God?
Many people also think they are so busy and cannot make the time for God. BUT the Bible says:
“Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.” Proverbs 23:4, NIV
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33, NKJV
Too Bad & Sinful to think about God?
Again many people think they are not good enough to serve God. BUT the Bible says:
“This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: ‘Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners…’” 1 Timothy 1:15, NLT
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17, NKJV
TOO Happy to think about God?
Others think that they are enjoying life so God does not matter to them. BUT the Bible says:
Pleasure without God is vain and doesn’t fully satisfy.
Also it says, “Do what you want to do, and follow your heart’s desire. But remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do.” Ecclesiastes 11:9, NLT
Too Old to think about God?
At old age, many realize they don’t have the strength and they think they’re too old to serve God. BUT David cried out,
“Do not reject me now that I am old; do not abandon me now that I am feeble…now that I am old and my hair is gray, do not abandon me, O God! Be with me while I proclaim Your power and might to all generations to come.”Psalms 71:9 & 18, GNT
Too late to think about God!
Finally, when DEATH strikes (it can be anytime from now), in hell one will only realize that IT IS TOO LATE to think about God.
“Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring.” Proverbs 27:1, NLT
“And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment.” Hebrews 9:27, NLT
Death makes it too late for anyone to think about God. While we are alive, no matter our situation and position, we have to think about God. None of us know when death will knock at our door and take us away.
Jesus spoke about a rich man who said to himself, “‘Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’” Luke 12:19-20, NKJV
“Today is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:1-3, NLT
It’s Time to get Jesus Involved
My friend! God wants to be involved in the life He gave you—but He needs your permission to do so. He wants to give you eternal life. All you need to do is...
A. Admit that you’re a sinner & repent of your sins.
“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:37-38, NKJV
B. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Savior—the One who paid the penalty of your sins and who is willing to forgive you.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved…” Acts 16:30-31, NLT
C. Confess Him as your Savior and Lord.
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9, NKJV
You can call out to God by praying a simple prayer such as: “Father, I thank you for loving me so much to send Jesus to die for my sins. I repent of my sins and believe that Jesus is my Savior and Lord. Please, I open my heart to you—come in and take control of my life. I thank you for saving me in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
