One Nation Under God

The Moral Decline in America

The following changes took place since we removed the Bible and prayer from schools in 1962.

Violent crime has risen by 350%

Criminal arrest is up by 150%

Teen Suicides are up 450%

Illegal drug activity is up 6000%

Child Abuse is up 2300%

Divorce is up 350%

SAT scores fell 10%

68% of Americans believe it is ok to have sex outside of marriage

61% of Americans claim it is ok to have a baby outside of marriage

63% of Americans claim there is nothing morally wrong with being gay or lesbian

59% of Americans believe that abortion should be legal

God’s Answer For America

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

What do we Need to do Personally to be Forgiven and Saved?

1. We are saved by faith and not works.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

2. Believe that Jesus died for your sins

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

3. Believe that Jesus died rose from the dead

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

What do we Need to do as a Nation?

1. Obey God’s commandments

Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

2. Pray, read the Bible and attend a Bible-believing church.

Take the First Step

If you are ready to turn from your way to God’s way and put your trust in Jesus Christ to receive forgiveness of sins, do it now! You can talk to God, expressing your heart to Him. It might sound like this:

Dear Jesus: I believe you died on the cross for my sin and then rose again. Forgive me for everything I have done wrong. Come live inside of me. I choose to make you Lord and Savior of my life. In Jesus name. Amen
