The True Story Of Christmas
Here is the true story of Christmas
That took place so long ago,
When God’s Son came from Heaven,
To be born on the Earth below.
His parents traveled to Bethlehem,
To register for a new tax.
But they found no room to stay in—
No good place to really relax.
Finally, a space was located
Where Joseph and Mary could stay.
But it was nothing impressive—
Just a place with animals and hay.
And during the dark of the night,
In a simple animal shed,
Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus—
And a food trough became His bed!
But why did Jesus leave Heaven,
To live on this Earth as a man?
It’s because He loves us so much,
And thus, He came with a plan!
He wants us to be there with Him—
To live forever in Heaven!
But first our sins must be dealt with—
God requires they all be forgiven.
When Jesus gave His life on a cross,
His blood paid the price for our sins!
If we repent and trust Him to save us,
Eternity in Heaven we’ll spend!
So this is why Christmas is special:
God’s love sent Jesus to save us!
Receive His free gift of salvation—
Make this your very best Christmas!

The Bible tells about:
GOD’S LOVE
I John 4:14 “… the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Rom 5:8 “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
I Peter 3:18 “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God …”
SIN & FORGIVENSS
Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Acts 10:43 “… everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
HOW TO RECEIVE SALVATION
Mark 1:15b “… repent and believe in the gospel.”
(The GOSPEL is the good news that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and came back to life.)
Luke 13:3 “… unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
John 1:12 “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
John 3:18 “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already …”
Conclusion:
Romans 5:1 When “… we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 5:1-2 “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us …”
