Lucifer (a.k.a Satan) was once an angel in Heaven. Until pride caused his heart to be lifted up against the Almighty. When he rebelled, he caused one third of God’s holy angels to join forces with him against the Almighty. God thrust Lucifer out of Heaven to this earth. Now Satan rules the world system and fallen mankind, by default. The pride of life is the biggest reason why people are ruled by him, “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2).

All things continue as they were...  “Where is the promise of His Coming?” they will ask. All things continue as they were from the beginning of creation (2 Peter 3:4).  Many are still asleep. Satan keeps the masses busy with selfish ambitions and worldly pursuits. The part he never reveals to them is if they die in their sinful state, they will go to hell for all of eternity. The Bible declares “There is a way that  seems right to a man, but its end is  the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12).  Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful without fellowship with the Creator. But God.

God provided a way out of Satan’s rulership over mankind through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). This indicates that salvation is available to everyone who puts their trust in Jesus. This promise of God is that those who believe on Jesus will receive eternal life, a life free from the consequences of sin and death.

Will you admit that you’re a sinner with a prideful heart and that you are on your way to hell? Only then can God rescue you and save you from eternal hell because He provided a lamb for Himself. “God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering,” Abraham said to Issac (Genesis 22:8). This event was a picture—a foreshadowing—of Christ who is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world (words of John the Baptist). God provided the perfect sacrifice, once for all. “After [Christ] had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God” (Hebrews 10:12). A position of honor for  His sacrifice accepted!

Will you accept God’s Salvation? If you will, pray this simple prayer in faith and believe God is true with all your heart. Pray: Dear God in Heaven, I’m a sinner. I’m away from You because of my sins that I committed against You. I’m sorry for my sins and I repent right now in this prayer, please forgive me as I look to the Cross for cleansing, forgiveness, deliverance and healing. I now place my faith in what Jesus did for me on the Cross. He died for me personally, I believe and I receive Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal Lord and Saviour. I am saved. Thank you Father God in Jesus Holy name, Amen.
