We have races for everything in America. Races for cancer, women’s rights, immigration and on and on. America is always racing for some cause.

There is a race that is the most important race of all—run for Jesus! Yes, you read it right. Run for Jesus—the distance of your life on earth, and eternal life with Christ in Heaven. (Read John chapter 14.)

How does one run for Jesus? Well, run against abortion, run against evil enemies, etc. Run for the cure for ebola, run for our freedoms—speech, religion, press, worship, etc. I’ve spent my life running for Christian principles.

I love Proverbs 3:5-6—“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
