“Well, how would I know?”

“According to the Bible, not only can you know, but you have a choice where you will go when you die…”

“...Either to a perfect paradise called Heaven, or to the terrible torments of Hell.”

“But I’m not ready to die.”

“Life here seems really short when compared with eternity, it says here…”

“What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14)”

“Yeah, and it seems to be getting shorter all the time.”

“So many of us are so caught up in the moment. We don’t think about eternity.”

“I’m...uh… thinking about both right now to tell you the truth.”

“Great! Then you’d agree with the Bible that you need to prepare for it.”

“Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement. (Hebrews 9:27)”

“Well, I believe in God, go to church, and live the best I can. What else can I do?”

“Ahhh, those things are admirable, but they will not get you into Heaven.”

“They won’t?”

“No, consider a religious leader in Jesus’ day who did all those things and more. His name was Nicodemus. Jesus told him…”

“No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. (John 3:3)”

“Born again? What does that mean?”

“It means you can start a new life… a spiritual life… because of Jesus.”

“He [Jesus] saved us, not because of righteous thing we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5)”

“Now have you experienced this spiritual rebirth? This is the one thing, according to the Bible, that will determine your eternal destiny.”

“No, tell me how before it’s too late.”

“First you must recognize you’re a sinner. The Bible says…”

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...There is no one righteous, not even one… There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins. (Romans 3:23, 10, Ecclesiastes 7:20)”

“Okay, okay, I’m a sinner. I’m a sinner.”

“Next, you must repent of your sins.”

“I (Jesus) tell you… unless you repent, you too will all perish. (Luke 13:3)”

“Perish? Repent?”

“Yes, it’s not an unreasonable request considering what God did for you. It was for our sins that God came to Earth in the person of Jesus to suffer and die that we might be forgiven.”

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. (1 John 3:16)”

“Wow! For me?”

“Yes, and finally, you must receive Christ into your heart and life as your Savior.”

“To all who received Him, to those who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12)”

“THe moment you open your heart to Jesus and place your trust in him to save you, god promises to forgive your sins and reserve a home for you in Heaven. Then you can know that you have eternal life.”

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13)”

“[Jesus said]... Whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. (John 5:24)”

“You too can settle the matter of where you will spend eternity right now if you pray this prayer.”

“Dear Lord, I now repent of my sins and receive Jesus Christ as my Savior. Thank you for saving me for all eternity.”
