"Here's a special treat for you."

"What is it?"

"Open it up! You'll find a treat that will last forever!"

"Wow! That's some kind of jawbreaker!"

"Not that! ... This! ... And it isn't candy."

"What is it then?"

"It tells all about Love! ... God's perfect love, and it's free!"

"Hmm, that sounds like a pretty good treat."

"God loves you so much that He created you to be His child ... to be part of His own wonderful family."

"Except one thing stands in the way ... sin."

"Sin? What is sin?"

"Sins are all of the bad things you have ever done and deserved to be punished for."

"The Bible says ..."

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

"Every one of us has sinned and each of us deserves to be punished for that sin."

"Well, I don't want to be punished!"

"That's what is so great about God—He loves us so much that He made a way out so we don't have to be punished for our sins."

"Which way is that?"

"Jesus said, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father [God] except through me.'" John 14:6

"Jesus is the way to God?"

"Yep! The Bible says that God loves us so much that He sent His only son, Jesus, to take the punishment for us."

"How did He do that?"

"Even though Jesus was sinless He let some people nail Him to a wooden cross until He died. Then He rose from a grave and is now alive today in Heaven waiting for us to join Him."

"Heaven? What's so great about Heaven?"

"The Bible tells us that in Heaven there will be no more tears, no more sadness, and we can enjoy God forever" (see Revelation 21:4)

"That's where I want to go. How do I get there?"

"First, turn away fro your sin ... then, in faith, place your trust in Jesus."

"The Bible tells us that if you ..."

"Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9, NKJV

"You can do this right now by praying the following prayer with me."

"Thank You, God, for sending Your only Son to die for me. I know that without Him I would be separated from You forever by my sins. I now turn from my sins and invite you into my life to be my savior and Lord. Amen."

"What's that?"

"You won't get sick from having too much of God's love."

"Better lay off the candy for awhile, fella."
