"Okay, I believe you, but why would He do that?"

"So what do I need to do?"

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

"Then will I be saved?"

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved"! (Acts 16:31)

"Okay, let me see if I've got this straight."

"God created me and wants to have a loving relationship with me."

"But it's my sin that stands in the way of that relationship."

"So God provided a way for me to still have a relationship with Him by suffering the consequences of my sin Himself."

"He did this by becoming a man, Jesus Christ, lving a sinless life, dying unjustly, and rising from the dead."

"You are not far from the kingdom of God" (Mark 12:34)

"So now I can have that relationship with Him for all eternity by turning from my sin, and ..."

"... placing my trust in Jesus to be my personal savior. Right?"

"She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." (Proverbs 31:26).

"Lord Jesus, I turn from my sin and place my trust in you to be my personal savior. Amen."
