You never know when you’re going to die.

I pray that today you will receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before you die.

“As it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

You don’t want to be on the wrong side of eternity on the day of your judgement before God. There’s only one way to heaven but many ways to hell.

Here’s what Jesus said it’s like without Him:

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels’” (Matthew 25:41).

That is your everlasting eternity without Jesus. You will be in the same place 100 million years from now where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. But don’t lose hope: it’s not too late to make your decision! Choose life in heaven with Jesus.

Here is the only way to heaven:

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’” (John 14:6).

Jesus died for all your sins. He was buried. Three days later He rose from the dead and defeated death. He has risen and is alive! This is the gospel or good news—and is the absolute truth!

Jesus said: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

Admit you’re a sinner. Pray to God, tell God you’re sorry for your sins and that you desire to make a U-turn in your life from your old ways and want to live for Jesus and His ways. Ask Him to give you a new heart and set you free.

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).

You need Jesus. Pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and to save your soul. He loves you!

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

You can’t earn your way to heaven.

Put all your trust in Jesus. Believe and have faith in what He did for you. You’re saved by God’s grace through faith and kept by faith in Jesus alone. Rest in His finished work on the cross.

You and I have broken God’s law by sinning, however, Jesus paid our fine with His life’s blood … paid in full! Make this your time to receive Christ with the free gift of eternal life. You won’t regret it, and you will realize this was the best decision you had ever made in this short vapor of a life on earth.

Plow ahead and don’t look back. Start reading the Bible. Begin in the book of John. Read every day and strengthen your faith.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
