We all want to be a reflection of God’s goodness, but sometimes we give in to our weaknesses. God wants you to remember that even though we make mistakes, constantly coming to Him makes us part of His family. Being kin to the King of Kings makes us royalty.

How can you be royalty? God’s love determines our royal lineage. While death is the result of sin, God has given you the gift of eternal life with Him in heaven. This gift came as a result of God’s son experiencing death in our place. Our part of the exchange means that we should live a right life just as He did. When we take on the difficulties and responsibilities of living a right life, we are promoted to joint-heir with Christ. We embrace our position as sons and daughters of God and we become royalty!!

How do I live a right life? Living a right life isn’t always easy when there are so many distractions and temptations. But God is so loving that He erases our mistakes when we sincerely come to Him with our desires for change and personal growth. Being forgiven means that the weight of our mistakes have been lifted and nailed to the cross with Christ.

Why would God do that? God’s love is as vast as the universe. God is so in love with us that He has made every provision for us to be saved. He wants us to be with Him.

What does it mean to be royalty? Being royalty means that you don’t have to be sad about your imperfections. Your heavenly father, the King of Kings, will work with you to correct any mistakes and will make all things brand new. Your losses are nothing in comparison to your gains in the scope of eternity. It may be difficult to view life as eternal, but you are royalty and so eternity is your reality!! Never forget that your destination is the kingdom of heaven!!

Thank you for your wonderful love and forgiveness. Help me to remember that I am a part of the family of God. Amen

WHAT IF ACCEPTING CHRIST MADE YOU ROYALTY?

God has made provisions that all could be par- takers with Him:
But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree. Romans 11:17

We are royalty with Christ, chosen by Him:

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Before we were even born, His desire was to adopt us into His royal family:
He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will. Ephesians 1:5
