This is my twenty-third year of imprisonment and now I feel I've known nothing else. I was looking for a poor and weak man's way out of this world and taking my own life had such a strong feeling. Then one of your mailings arrived in my hands. Thank you for reminding me through it and the word of the Lord, that I am not forgotten. I shall never forget your kindness.
