I don’t think that’s for me.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe next morning, I got up at 3:00 and headed north in my truck. About an hour into the trip, tears began pouring down my face. I started talking to God.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI said, \u003ci\u003e“God, if You’re real, I need You to show me a sign.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA little later I saw an old blue sign in a field. It said: \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCHRIST IS THE ANSWER.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI thought, \u003ci\u003e“That’s my sign!”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBut then I said,\u003ci\u003e “God, that’s not what I meant. I want something BIG.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLater, a little church van pulled alongside me. A woman rolled down her window, pointed her thumb toward the sky, and drove on.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI thought,\u003ci\u003e “God sent a church lady to tell me You’re up there and listening!”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBut again I said, \u003ci\u003e“That’s not big enough.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI kept driving and kept talking to God.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLater that day, after unloading my truck, I headed home. On I-39, I looked out across a field.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere it was—a huge sign with the face of Jesus, with a crown of thorns, pointing at me. The sign read:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTHIS ONE’S FOR YOU!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI began to cry. I confessed my sins, and I tried to remember the prayer that was in the book, but I couldn’t remember how it went. So I just started praying from my heart, asking God to forgive me and save me!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSomething happened that I can never fully explain.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJesus lifted my burdens. I felt like I was floating. The weight of the world came off my chest. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI couldn’t wait to tell Linda—and call Pastor Russ.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThat day, on that lonely road, Jesus found me.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd He can find you, too.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eTHE ROMANS ROAD\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eRomans 3:23 \u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eRomans 6:23 \u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eRomans 5:8 \u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eRomans 10:9 \u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eRomans 10:13 \u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTHAT MEANS YOU!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eYou don’t have to wait for a sign.\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJesus has already given you the greatest sign of all—He gave His life for you.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf you are ready to trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray something like this, from your heart:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003e“Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I ask You to forgive me and come into my life. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf you prayed that prayer and truly placed your faith in Jesus, tell somebody! Get a Bible. Find a Bible-believing church.
