It’s about something that concerns every one of us.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlthough we are different in one way—you can hear, and I cannot—we have something far more important in common. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eOne day, we will both stand before God.\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Bible says, \u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003e“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e (Hebrews 9:27)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Bible also says, \u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003e“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003ci\u003e(Romans 3:23)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThat includes every one of us. Whether Deaf or hearing, young or old, rich or poor, we have all sinned against a holy God. No amount of good works, religion, or personal effort can remove our sin or make us acceptable before Him.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eBut God loves us.\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003e“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003ci\u003e(Romans 5:8)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, came into the world to save sinners. He willingly gave His life on the cross, was buried, and rose again the third day. He paid the penalty that our sins deserved so that we could be forgiven and receive eternal life.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Bible calls this the gospel: \u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003e“...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” \u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eSalvation is God’s free gift.\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003e“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” \u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003ci\u003e(Ephesians 2:8–9)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Lord Jesus said, \u003cb\u003e\u003ci\u003e“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003ci\u003e(John 6:47)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGod invites you to place your trust in Jesus Christ alone as your Saviour. He alone can forgive your sins and give you everlasting life.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI don’t know your name, and I may never have the opportunity to speak with you again. That’s why I wanted to give you this tract.
