Peace in every circumstance can be yours through a trusting relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen Jesus walked this earth, He saw the awful condition of the people around Him and had \u003ci\u003e“compassion on them, because they … were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e2\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs the “Good Shepherd,” Jesus laid down His life to rescue us from the power of sin and to offer eternal life. The Lord invites you to turn and follow Him.\u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e5\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e Jesus promises that, \u003ci\u003e“He that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e6\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen you let Him lead, He fulfills this promise of renewed, satisfied, spiritual life through Him. \u003cbr\u003e\u003ci\u003e(See: \u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e5\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003eMatthew 11:28; \u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e6\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003eJohn 6:35)\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-size: 120%;\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eHe restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.\u003c\/b\u003e Psalm 23:3\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApart from Jesus, our souls are utterly lost on paths of sin that only lead to death and judgment.\u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e7\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e \u003ci\u003e“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e8\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJesus came to restore our souls. We will face things so overwhelming that we’ll wonder how we’re going to get through them. Jesus said, \u003ci\u003e“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003csup\u003e10\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYes, you will be touched by the shadows of evil in this life, but He will never leave you to walk alone. He is the Shepherd who left everything to find you and bring you to safety. With Him as the center of your life, you will “want” for nothing and won’t need to worry or fear, whatever may come.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHave you trusted in Jesus for forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life?
