Read His Word Daily: \u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDaily reading of the Bible helps build trust in God because it will equip you with knowledge as to how to trust Him \u003ci\u003e(Proverbs 3:5)\u003c\/i\u003e and why you should trust Him \u003ci\u003e(Jeremiah 17:7; Romans 8:28). \u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e2. God Fulfills His Promises:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Bible reminds us of all the promises God has fulfilled in the past \u003ci\u003e(Joshua 23:14).\u003c\/i\u003e Every single promise God made was fulfilled or will be fulfilled in the future. The ultimate promise God will fulfill is found in Christ \u003ci\u003e(2 Corinthians 1:20; Ephesians 1:19-21).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e3. God Will Never Change:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003e“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever”\u003c\/i\u003e \u003ci\u003e(Hebrews 13:8, NKJV).\u003c\/i\u003e God never changes His mind nor does His character change. People in our lives can change. But God is different, because His love and goodness never waver \u003ci\u003e(James 1:17).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e4. God Does Not Lie: \u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGod is completely honest and truthful. God always tells the truth—whether we like it or not. \u003ci\u003e“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind”\u003c\/i\u003e \u003ci\u003e(Numbers 23:19, ESV).\u003c\/i\u003e God is truth. God does not merely possess the quality of \u003ci\u003espeaking\u003c\/i\u003e the truth; He is the \u003ci\u003esource\u003c\/i\u003e of truth! God is the only being Who is incapable of lying \u003ci\u003e(Hebrews 6:18; Titus 1:2).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e5. God Will Never Leave You:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhether we are at the highest mountain, or the deepest valley, God is there with us. Even when we cannot see God, He is right by our side. Our Lord has promised never to leave us or forsake us \u003ci\u003e(Hebrews 13:5)\u003c\/i\u003e, to be with us always, to the end of the age \u003ci\u003e(Matthew 28:20)\u003c\/i\u003e, and to bring to completion the good work He has begun in us \u003ci\u003e(Philippians 1:6)\u003c\/i\u003e, which is nothing less than saving His people from their sins \u003ci\u003e(Matthew 1:21).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e6. God Loves You:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003e“For God so loved the world”\u003c\/i\u003e \u003ci\u003e(John 3:16).\u003c\/i\u003e Ever since the creation of mankind, God has a purpose for us. Despite all our flaws and sins God still loves us \u003ci\u003e(Romans 5:8)\u003c\/i\u003e. Even when we do not “feel” God’s love, that doesn’t limit His ability to lavish goodness and grace upon us. God is love \u003ci\u003e(1 John 4:8)\u003c\/i\u003e. He has a special love for His people that will bring them into fellowship with Himself and result in the full salvation from sin \u003ci\u003e(John 17:23; Romans 8:29-39)\u003c\/i\u003e. This love of God will never let us go, and we can always rely on Him.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e7. God Is Working All Things Out For Your Good: \u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGod is wise \u003ci\u003e(Proverbs 3:19)\u003c\/i\u003e, which means that He knows what is best and how to achieve what is best. We must realize that God is in control of everything; He knows everything. Even in bad seasons of life, God is still working out His divine plan in our lives for His purpose \u003ci\u003e(Romans 8:28). \u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eHow do you know if you are\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e trusting God:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\n\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf we trust in God, we will obey Him as our sovereign Lord and because we believe He knows what is best \u003ci\u003e(John 14:15).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTrusting God will help us wait on Him when He delays, regarding our prayers or the fulfillment of His promises\u003ci\u003e \u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e(Psalm 33:20-22).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTrusting God will keep us from taking matters into our own hands as if we know better than God what we should do \u003ci\u003e(James 5:11).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTrusting God cancels out fear \u003ci\u003e(Psalm 34:4-5).\u003c\/i\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf we trust God, we will be content with what He has given us \u003ci\u003e(Philippians 4:11-12).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThose who trust God will act in faith \u003ci\u003e(Psalm 37:5; 33:4).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003ci\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003eTrusting God is an essential element of true and saving faith that looks to God and finds peace, strength, contentment, and much more in all that He has done, is doing, and will do.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003e\u003cb\u003ePRAYER:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eHeavenly Father, I come before You struggling to trust You.
